Initially, this site started as a blog by Holly A. Magister who is a CPA and CFP®.  Over the years and after thousands of business owners’ questions were answered, Holly invited other professional advisors to assist her.  None of the business owners are asked to compensate Holly or any of the advisors.  Instead, the site is supported financially by its advertisers.

Startup Promise™ earns income in two ways — through affiliations with other businesses where our site may receive a commission via Affiliate Links to Advertisers and through advertising income via Display Ads.

Affiliate Links to Advertisers

We may have an affiliate relationship with a brand that offers a product or service we review or mention in one of our articles or resources. Absolutely not!

All advertising or sponsored content on Startup Promise™ is clearly and unambiguously distinguished from our educational and editorial content by identifying it as an “Ad,” “Advertisement,” “Sponsored” or a similar designation indicating that the content is being provided by or on behalf of the sponsor.

All “native” ads or paid content are identified as an “Ad,” “Advertisement,” “Sponsored” or a similar designation indicating that the content is being provided by or on behalf of the sponsor.

In some cases, our educational and editorial content (articles and other resources) may include links to partners for which Startup Promise™ receives an affiliate commission.
